PIMENT DE GASCOGNE
This pepper has been grown and selected on our Gacon hillsides for the last 8 years. Only the earliest fruits are picked, leaving enough time for them to dry naturally in the summer sun.
It’s taken 8 years of careful selection to perfect our punchy pepper. But we’re there now and very proud of it’s character; a sweet earthy kick and long lasting heat that’s unique to our farm. Hand milled and available in 40g jars, 1kg, 5kg and 10kg bags. We only produce 80kg each year.
Red pepper powder from selectively grown peppers, hand-picked and sun-dried in Gascony at La Ferme à Naroques.
We carefully dry the peppers and then pulverise them into a fine powder. The piment powder makes for a delicious sweet or savoury dish. It has a deep-red colour, mild heat and a smoky-sweet flavour.
